(1) There shall be kept posted in a prominent position in every workplace—(a) the prescribed abstract of this Act;(b) a notice of the address of the Director and of the area occupational safety and health officer;(c) printed copies of any rules made under any provision of this Act which are for the time being in force in the workplace, or the prescribed abstract of such rules;(d) notices stating the danger or ill heath that may be caused and precautionary measures to be observed in areas where persons are exposed to injurious or offensive substances; and (e) any other notice and document required by this Act to be posted in the workplace.(2) The documents referred to in subsection (1) shall be in English and in such other vernacular languages as an occupational safety and health officer may direct, and if a form has been prescribed for any document, it shall be posted in that form.(3) The occupier of a workplace who contravenes the provisions of this section commits an offence.
