(1) The Employment Act is repealed. (2) Except where otherwise provided, the provisions of this Act shall be in addition to, and not in substitution for or in derogation of, the provisions of any other Act. (3) A term of contract of service, or foreign contract of service to which Part XI of this Act applies, made after the date of commencement of this Act which provides a condition of service or employment less favourable to an employee than the like condition of employment provided by this Act, shall be void to the extent that it is so less favourable, and the relevant condition of employment provided by this Act shall be deemed to have been included in and to form part of such contract or foreign contract of service as the case may be.
